New Pay Scale Rollout

After conducting a Labor Market Wage Analysis, we have decided to up our base pay and update our pay scale. Below you will see the new structure we will implement.

  • In order to get the bump in pay, you will need to complete the new Basics Checklist (linked below) for your area of work. The new base pay for a FOH/BOH Team Member who has completed the basics checklist is $12.50 an hour. Once you complete your checklist, your pay will be updated on the next payroll cycle.

  • If you are making over $12.50/hr currently, you can still make more and your pay will be adjusted to the new scale once your basics checklist is complete.

For example: If you’re making $13/hr currently, you can complete the checklist and we will give you an evaluation of your performance and your pay will be based on your availability, skill set, and performance using the new pay scale. You can also complete the additional Advanced Team Member Checklist in the future and receive additional raises.

So, if you’re a Full Time TM with a GED or HS diploma and complete the basics checklist, you can make $15.50/hr.

If you are a part time Team Member who has some daytime availability, and you complete the checklist you can make $13-14/hour or more if you have graduated High School.

  • Delivery Drivers will automatically go up in pay $1/hour and continue to get tips. However, the bonus incentive is being paused Starting Oct. 1.

  • The Basics checklist is super easy. Most of you should be able to do it within 30 days. However, there are some Team Members who only work 1-2 times per week. We will give you until January 1st to complete the list. If you have not been able to complete the Basics checklist by then, your employment will be terminated. Remember, if you complete the checklist, your pay increases substantially.

  • Only Team Leaders and above are allowed to check items off your list:

    • Autumn

    • Bri

    • Lesley

    • Nicole

    • Marie

    • Chris

  • The behaviors we value are:

    • Care

    • Serve

    • Grow

Completing the checklist shows that you care about working here. It shows us that you want to work hard, do things right and be a part of our team. It shows you are humble and willing to serve and not just feel entitled to make more money “just because.” Lastly, it shows you are growing. It shows you are able to do the job, paying attention to what you have been trained to do and are striving to learn and do more. We won’t check things off your list unless you can do them well enough to train someone else on how to do it. So, completing the checklists shows us that you can learn and grow with us in the business.

If you do not want to complete the checklist, you can quit.

  • In order to attract and retain high quality Team Members, we have to pay a competitive wage for the work expected. After conducting research on labor wage trends in our area, we have decided an increase is necessary to obtain and retain talent for future growth of the business.

We are revamping our FOH and BOH checklist.

We now have a Team Member Basics checklist and an Advanced Team Member Checklist.

If you work Front or Back and have never gotten a raise since you started, here is a clear path to how you can make more money. If you have already received a raise, you will need to speak with Chris or Marie about your next steps.

RULES: A Team Leader or Manager must check off that you know how to do the item on your checklist and can actually do it. You are responsible for keeping up with the paper. We can print you another copy if you lose yours but any items you had checked off on the lost paper will need to be reassessed.

Start with the Team Member BASICS checklist for your area: FOH or BOH.
